The ACOVS conference series started in Sydney in 1995 and has been held in numerous locations around Australia including Brisbane (1996, 2001), Melbourne (1998, 2003, 2009), Sydney (2005), Wollongong (2007), and Adelaide (2014). In 2011 the conference was in held New Zealand.
The first three conferences in the ACS series were held at the Indian Institute of Science (Bangalore) in 2007, Seoul National University in 2009, Xiamen University in 2011 and Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore in 2013. The 5th ASC is the first time that the conference will be held outside of Asia.
The ACOVS and ASC Organising Committees are proud to be hosting both of these conferences at The University of Sydney from the 29th of September until the 2nd of October, 2015. Workshops are planned to be held at the beginning of the week on Monday the 28th and Tuesday the 29th of September, 2015.
