Wednesday Afternoon – Excursions
After lunch on Wednesday there will be a free afternoon. There are excursions that the organising committee have made to the following venues. 1) Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation (ANSTO) which is our nuclear facility there will be a bus to take you to Lucas Heights and back to the University after the tour; 2) the new Australian Institute for Nanoscience and Technology (AINST) building and the 3) Macleay Museum both of which are located at USYD. Alternatively take the afternoon off and have some free time.
The conference dinner will be held on Wednesday night (30th September) and will be held at the Australian National Maritime Museum at Darling Harbour.
We will start the evening with a private after-hours tour of the Australian National Maritime Museum which will be followed by cocktails on the HMAS Vampire. After cocktails we will head instead for a fabulous dinner!
